Waterless Car Wash Tips
- Preferably find a shaded location so car panels can cool first before applying
- If your encounter streaking the soaps (surfactants) have dried too quickly, simply re-apply product and wipe dry to remove.
- Fold microfiber towel in fourths and rotate as sides become soiled
- Work your way from the top-down (roof, windows, hood, trunk, lower panels)
- Do lower body panels last, these tend to be the dirtiest
- Use on both wet or dry surfaces
- Make sure both the panel and towel are sprayed before use
- Avoid "rubbing" the waterless car wash into panels...use smooth motions
Dashboard + Trim
- Spray Eco Touch Dashboard + Trim onto microfiber towel first, then wipe onto surface You’ll avoid overspray on the windows this way
- For a smoother finish, follow-up initial wipe with a second dry microfiber
- Make sure your dashboard is cool first before wiping to avoid streaking
- Regular cleaning will help prevent fading and cracking from the effects of the sun
- For smaller vents pull out a small cotton swab and apply Eco Touch Dashboard + Trim
- For console knobs and hard to reach areas, consider using a specialty detailing brush
Carpet + Upholstery
- Vacuum your car’s interior frequently as most of the wear and tear of carpeting is caused by dirt.
- Treat stains immediately after they occur. The majority can be removed very easily if they are treated sooner rather than later.
- Test first in an inconspicuous area to ensure colorfastness.
- Never aggressively rub or brush spots as it can push dirt particles even deeper into carpet fabrics.
- Do not overwet carpets or upholstery as this can cause brownout, carpet shrinkage, or other problems. Less is best.
Metal Polish
- For heavily oxidized surfaces, let formula penetrate for at least 2 minutes.
- For optimal results, buff with a dry towel
